Joyful Reunion: A Maha Shivaratri Practice with Live Music and Mantra

$36.00

Join Mary Harju (E-RYT 500, YACEP) and Chris Ananda Miller (musician and Sanskrit scholar) for an afternoon of breathwork, intention-setting, mudra, asana, mantra, and yoga nidra accompanied by live music to celebrate Maha Shivaratri, the end of winter, and the mythical wedding of Shiva and Shakti.

  • Sunday, February 23, 3:00-5:00 PM

Shiva and Shakti represent the principles of rising consciousness and dynamic manifestation, and through the alchemical union, or yoga, of these currents within the heart we open a portal to the splendor of the summer solstice and bring in blessings for the coming harvest.

This full-immersion practice will be held live, in-studio, and is worth 2 hours of CE credit for yoga teachers registered with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga mats, blocks, blankets, and bolsters will be provided. Water and tea will also be available on site. Please wear comfortable clothing for moving and stretching.

All sales for this event are final (though should it be cancelled without postponement, your registration fee would be refunded).
