Join us February 24th from 12-2:00pm for our Tech Neck Workshop
Tech Neck: A Modern Epidemic
In a technology-driven world, we often find ourselves glued to our devices and our bodies pay the price. Tech neck is increasingly prevalent ailment of the digital age.
Tech neck, also known as cervical kyphosis, refers to the strain and discomfort experienced in the neck and upper back due to prolonged periods of hunching over screens. Our heads tilt forward and our shoulders round, placing excessive stress on our cervical spine.
The consequences of tech neck extend beyond the occasional ache or stiffness. Constant slouching and poor alignment can lead to a range of health issues, including chronic headaches, reduced mobility in the neck and shoulders, muscular imbalances, and even nerve compression.
Through a mindful and comprehensive approach, of gentle yoga sequences targeting the neck and upper back, breathwork, and guided meditation for stress relief, this workshop aims to restore balance, strength, and flexibility.
Discover the powerful benefits of a dedicated practice focused on self-care and postural alignment.
